Reviews of Jeffrey

Jeffrey has done a very good job in our school garden. He has helped clean up, prune and repair irrigation. He's had good suggestions about new plantings and changes to irrigation. I highly recommend him.

Jeffrey prepared a plan for us that helped turn our backyard into a thriving garden full of beautiful native plants, attracting many types of wildlife. He took his time in designing our garden plan based on native plants that would best meet our climate conditions and our desired maintenance schedule. He has been helpful with many follow up questions since he prepared our plan. He is a pleasure to work with!

I have heard Jeffrey speak on native plants, and I was very impressed with his depth of knowledge. He has also given me useful advice on helping under-performing plants.

Jeff has been a consultant for me several times. One property involved steep HOA Hillside. Advised on which native plants to save and which weeds to remove. Other properties advised on which native plants would work on the sight. Jeff also advises our Gardening With natives Group in the Ca Native Plant Society. Very Knowledgeable about both plants and resources. Has high horticulture standards, and much appreciated for his willingness to share so much knowledge and experience from his gardening background.

For several years Jeffery has been helping us with our native California plant landscaping --- his extensive horticultural knowledge and diligence coupled with a quiet, affable demeanor --- a winning combination.

Jeffrey helped select and procure native plants for my garden and plant them. He helped with integrating large rocks into the garden. He helped prune our fruit trees. The best thing about him is the vast knowledge he has about native plants, the environment, and horticulture; if you spend time with him, you will end up learning a lot because he shares his knowledge so readily and in such an accessible manner.

Jeffrey was first a consultant for my family's orchard and gardens a number of years ago. He is knowledgeable, inquisitive, and careful making recommendations. I find his observations and recommendations valuable in spite of my experience and qualifications: ISA Certified Aphoristic, Certified Landscape Technician, Certified Pesticide Applicator, and orchardist. I will recommend him to anyone. (408) 203-5828

I have watched Jeffrey work in other gardens, and wanted him to work in mine. It was a big job: first he had to take out two Anchor fences, then remove more than 100 Amaryllis bulbs, etc. Now he is creating and implementing the new native plant garden. I trust him completely -- and I know natives!

Jeffrey cataloged the non-native and native plants in my 3 acre Santa Cruz mountain property and advised me on how to go about restoration, which I am undertaking myself. It would have taken me ages to get the specific and in-depth information that Jeffrey provided on his visits and in follow-up emails. I consider Jeffrey my valued coach, and I will also use his services when it comes to restoration work I can't complete on my own, or for which I lack skills. He is a genial guy, and easy to get along with. I highly recommend Jeffrey's services. He really cares about our native flora and fauna.
